Host Family!!!

I got a host family!!!!!

One morning a person from the STS (vaihtojärjestö) called me and told me that I have a family. I'm gonna have a host mum and host sister (she is one year older than me) 

I have been talking with my host sister and a bit with my host mum and they seem to be reaaally nice :) I'm so excited!

In fact my host sister is right now in exchange as well... in Australia, so her English is awesome (I know you are reading this :P) and it's great because she'll know how it feels to be in exchange :) (she will be back to Argentina before i go there)

Corral de bustos

The place where I'm going is in the province of Cordoba, but it's small city middle of nowhere :DD (or that's how i think, because I've lived my whole life in the capital of Finland (no joo joo pääkaupunkiseutualueella sitte :D) 
The name of the town is Corral de Bustos, check out from google map... There lives about 10 000 people... Awesome! Ask if you have some questions :) (Now I may even know something :D)

A few weeks ago I had läksiäiset (you know the party when someone is leaving for a long time) for my friends from school(s). I really enjoyed that day and it was amazing to see so many of my friends at the same time :) You may wonder why my läksiäiset was already now. No, mieti vaa. No, eeei... I was just thinking that all my friends will be around the world in July, so I thought it would be easier this way..

It feels unbelievable, I still have no idea about my host family or the city, where I'm going... and guys, I'll let you know, when I know...

For those who are not from Finland, guess what! My summer vacation began almost 2 weeks ago! :P But because i love school so much (köh köh) I...

...went to Lapland for 10-day-summer school :D It was arranged by my math high school, so most of my class went there. So, we went to Enontekiö, (one of the Northest part of Finland) we went by bus, we left from school at 9 am and we were in the destination about at midnight... 
  It was really cold in there... one day it was snowing!!! in June!!! The temperature was most days around 10°C. There was no leafs in the trees as well.

  We had 2 cottages and one tent for sleeping, the first night I spend in the tent, but... then I went to one of the cottages, guess why.. Next to that place, like 10m there was a river, and other side of the river was Sweden :)

We had almost every day at least 2 math lessons peliteoriaa... (game theory?) and biology lesson when we went to a tunturi, or suo (tunturi= Finnish ''mountain'', not as high as real mountains and those are kinda ''flat'') Btw we saw lots of reindeer.

Last day we had a math exam, that time we were in a camping area (jossai oulun lähellä) first girls started with the exam and boys went to the sauna then boys did the exam and girls went to sauna and after that, continued the exam... we ate during that.. as well... oh, btw the we started that about 10 pm? and last ones finish it maybe at 2 am ( i was done at midnight) Chillein koe minkä mä oon tehny :D Ja sain siit 8!!! jei! I got B from that!! :D

The Arctic Ocean

  One day we spent in Norway. We went to one city (i'm not gonna write its name here...) and we went to the beach of Artic Ocean ( 2 of my friends swam there!!!) The water was about 4°C... I loved those mountains, in Norway they were so cool <3 and you can guess how many pics I have from those... And one more thing, for those who don't know, there was no sunset during our stay... sun was shining at the midnight as well :)

Sólo 55 dias en Finlandia

Watsupp people???

WHii month and x days before.... whii :D In fact 55 days in Finland (okay okay I'll spend one day in Norway, but anyway :)) 

I'm gonna have 7 exams in 1½ week... umph -.- no me gusta :,( psykology, physics, math, Spanish, English, Finnish and biology... party... and I guess this time i should study a bit for those (specially physics.. o.O Fy.4) You are propably very interested in my exams :D so, lets talk about something else.. 

Hmm... nothing has really happend... or kinda nothing... I still don't know my host family or the area... or.. anything (it's propably gonna be area called Cordoba, but I'm not sure yet...) 
  Next week I'm gonna have party for my friends from school and then...summer vacation!!! <3  2 weeks school left!!! and mainly only exams :) And the day after school ending we're gonna go to Lapland with people from my high school (it takes like more than 10 hours by bus...........--->) and 10orsomething days there ... studying... math... biology <3 ( I could skip the other one... ) But I'm sure it's gonna be so fun... sleeping in the tent, hakata halkoja ( dunno what's that in English, but you know like cuting the trees :DD) and so on... Still wondering will I survive that time without make-up, or should I take some with me anyway.. :P (yeah, I know that's stupid, but ... whateveer :D) 

What else... ? Dunno.. I'll write when I've somthing smart(?) in my mind

There has been so much happening during last ... 3 weeks?? Guess what!!!! 2 and half month left in Finland!!

A bird in Helsinki

Ookay anyway, lets start from the weekend 2 weeks ago. My best friend (who I've known about 14 years) was visiting in Helsinki. We had really good time and we took 100 and one pics. :D Then we were just chilling out in the center of Helsinki...

Then one week ago, I was in ''army''. There was sellane jännä lukiokurssi juttu kaikille Helsingin lukioille johon oli mahis ilmottautuu. There was about 200 high school ''guys'' in the ''army area'' It was so fun :D we had those clothes, that they have to use in the army and we did all those those... ''army things'' kaikkii noit ''aSENTO!!!'' ''LePooo..'' Käännös oikeaan......PÄIN'' jne... :D First morning they woke us up at 6 am whit shouting something like this: ''Lights on!! You have 5 min time to have all your clothes (those army clothes) on and be in the place x'' Now I'm wondering, that how could it take 1 and half hour to get ready for school every morning, if I can do the same in 5 minutes...hmm...? The second night we spent in a tent... The tent was for 15 people... there was 17 of us... :D I guess I slept 2 hours in that night... (next school week was... interesting...) So, we did so much different stuff (shooting for example (it was soooo fun)) (and no one died altough I shooted :D) Anyway, it was one of the nicest weekends, that I've ever had. :)


And finally... this weekend. They had kinda ''preparation weekend'' for us who are going somewhere as a exchange students. There was about 200 of us... and about 100 were going to the USA. It was really nice to meet the others who are going to Argentina, there was 5 of us :D There was also one girl going to Brazil and one to Equador...
  There was hours and hours ''lessons'' when they told us everything about the exchange year and now I'm beginning to realise that I'm really going somewhere... We got a yellow backpack and a t-shirt, which we have to wear when we travel... haha :D

Helloo... again 

This time I'm just gonna write everything random and it won't propably be that interesting, but do you think I care? :P 

They told me the day when I'm leaving from Finland!!!!! Whiiii <3 13th of July... 3 months and 4 days left... It' so soon!!! I just hope before that there will be spring and summer in Finland... There is still lots of snow in here.. -.-

That's something I wrote to facebook, but anyway I'm gonna put it here too :D

Dear Spring

It has been long time when I last saw you and I have to admit that I miss you. I hope I don't bother you, but I would just like to remind you about a small country in somewhere far north, called Finland. Altough it's middle of nowhere and it seems to be that you try to avoid going there as long as you can, we, Finns, would welcome you to our country. It's already April anyway. Last th...ing I would want to do is to complain, but I have to say that I find the long winter a bit ... how to say it.. unpleasant. I had just prepared myself for your arriving, but then, last nigh we got so much more snow, so our beautiful country became white and I'm really looking forward to see it wearing green once again.

So, dear Spring, if you don't mind, could you hurry a bit?

I'm gonna have lots of exams next week and I should be reading for those. So, is there any better time to write this??

Soo.... what should I write... hmm...? I came from Paris week ago, so maybe I can tell you something about that trip.

It was only a five-day-trip. It was a school project. There were people from Spain, Italy, Germany, Finland and of course from France. There were 8 Finns, 5 students and 3 teachers. ( Finnish group was amazing <3 ) We went to this one French school ( the building was a biiiit different than our school....) The subject of the project was ''Water the essence of life'' or something like that and we had to made a presentasion (in Finland) about that subject.. and about our school and.. yeah... so anyway, all of the countrys showed their presentasions, but most of the time we just were at the school and did something... ( for example one more presentasion about water in Paris....) I got to know there some people (not as many as i had wished :( ) and guess what!!!!! I spoke some Spanish!!!! With a few Spanish girls and they understood, what i was trying to say!!! Dididiiidii :D

Notre Dame

Most of the evenings I spend with my Finnish friends or with my host family. I really liked my host family, it was an Australian family ( in France...? hmm.. :D ) they spoke really good English (suprise suprise) and I was really happy about that, because as you know I don't speak any French, I learned some in there, but I wouldn't write it here... :D I can speak only Finnish, English, Swedish, a bit Spanish, even less Russian, a few words Hebrew and I'm gonna study Arabic, when I'll have a chance for that. No, I really don't speak any French... :(

Hmm.. what else... 3 months in Finland left!!!! Yep, and when I'll come from Argentina back to Finland (after a year :P ) I'll propably move into my own apartment... so this is gonna be my last spring ''kotona'' (at home).

I just have to write something today :) I can imagine that i'll write 100 texts before i leave, and during my stay in Argentina i'll write only 2 or something :D 

So, i'm going there! u see?!?

But anyway :D I don't care. I'm soooo excited about Argentina. I'll be there after 4 months!!!!!  A few days ago I got e-mail from the organisation. There will be a weekend for exchange students in the end of April... They're gonna tell us everytihng about the year and i'm gonna meet also other exchange students who are gonna go to argentina... whii :) We have to take yellow socks with us for that weekend....? Sounds hmm... interesting... :D
  Today I got an other e-mail from Argentina. I have to send there a paperi (finglish) where (se ei kuullosta enkuks niin öö... hyvältä?) I have to tell everything about myself. What's my phone number, where do i live, when is my birthday and so on... ( i thought i did this already once....) 

Oon ny lukenu kasan blogeja tyypeiltä, jotka on siel vaihossa.... I'm soooo excited (yeah, i know i said that once already) and I'm really looking forward to get to know what kinda family i'm gonna get :)I'm just thinking what kinda summer i'm gonna have in Finland, if everybody is somewhere and I'm just packing my stuff... maybe I could go to Israel before Argentina... :)
  I've been missing specially Nazareth so much... :/ if I just could go there one more time... (before ''the year'')  Or all of the Nazareth people could make a trip to Finland or to Argentina... :DD I guess I'm allowed to dream :)
