Patagonia

This time i really have something to tell you :)

Last week we made a 11-day-trip to Patagonia ( = shoutern part of Argentina (vahan niinku lappi eli ei asu pahemmin porukkaa ja on "viileaa"))

Friday

I went to a one hostel here in Puerto Madryn, because other exchange students came here first. It was great to meet them again! There were 16 of us, almost half from Germany, 2 from Sweden, 1 from Swizerland, 2 from Canada, 2 from New Zeland, 1 from Australia and 1 from Finland (me o.O)
From the hostel in P. Madryn  (find Lula? :) )
So we ate (one meal: a soup, empanadas, spaghetti and ice cream.. I must start jogging -.-) and then we went to the center. Later one of my friend (Lulaaa <3) came with us to the hostel and we had amazing time with her and with other girls :) (and then we ate again -.- ) :D

On saturday we woke up early (if i remember right) and we went to a place called "Peninsula Valdes" (look for google, i'm too lazy to tell you all about it) in there we went to "Puerto Pyramides" we went to a boat and we saw whales, it was kinda cool :) And in the evening Lula and my sis Sol came to the hostel (jaja if we had stayed there longer my whole class would propably have appeard there)

Sunday

Punta Tombo
Mate
We started our 28-hour-journey to Calafate ( a city in the south) We stopped in Punta Tombo, the place where are Penguins. ( We were there like one and half hour and my skin was sooo red after that <3 umph) In the bus we drank mate and watched a million movies and danced... (Jess <3 )

Monday

Upsala
We arrived to Calafate. We had whole day time to get to know the city and buy some turist stuff and so on.. (I found a shop called "Upsala" excuse me Swedish people....? (yeah, later i heard that there was some guy from Sweden who came to Argentina and named a mountain " Upsala" What imagination! (those who don't know there is a town called "Uppsala" in Sweden)) So Calafate is one expensive turist city.. a small one somewhere :)

Tuesday

Yeah, i was there (and i'm still pink)
We went to one place close to Calafate, where was an ice berg called "Perito Moreno" It was so cool... and then we walked on it... I'm not gonna try to explain.. u'll see it from pictures. When we arrived part of us went to a mm... small boliche, that was made from ice. I mean everything was from ice.. chairs, walls, glasses... And after that everyone were so tired...
On the ice berg

Wednesday

Just trying to remember what did we do... I guess we just travelled whole day? And night... Oh, yeah.. and then we met one other exchange group "Rotary" hehe.. there was 16 of us and 70 something of them... and 3 girls from Finland!! How cool it was to speak Finnish again.. :)

Thursday

We arrived to place called "Esquel" It's a cute town close to borded of Chile. We ate and we had time to walk in the city. (In fact we slept like half of the afternoon, but... whatever:) )

Parque nacional

Friday

We woke up early ( i guess? ) and we went to some "parque nacional" yeah, i think you guess what it is in English.. it was so pretty :) (everything here is so pretty <3 ) and after that we continued to Bariloche (only 5 hours!! in the bus, everything here is like.. at least 10 hours... 20... 25..hours...) We arrived to a hotel and there we meet again with the Rotary group, and at 11pm we went to one boliche with rotarys.
Bariloche: A "party city" that is full of boliches and chocolate shops. Every year people from all over the Argentina from the last grade of high school come to Bariloche with their class just to celebrate the "end of the school"

Saturday

We woke up maybe at.. 7(??) That was great... after sleeping 5 hours <3 And we did a small tour around the Bariloche... it was so beautiful <3 su país es el mas lindo! Then we went to one chocolate factory and we bought a lot of chocolate (i've never seen more expencive chocolate ... o.O ) Kaakaopakkaus 10e, suklaalevy 10e.. >.< and after that we had time to walk in the center. Sunday

Ice cream
We woke up a bit before 10 and then we went to the center an other time. Then about at midday others took their stuff and said bye to me and left to Cordoba. I live in the other side of Argentina so I had to take an other bus. I had like 5 hours more time at hotel, so I packed my stuff and I talked with a local  basketball team :D that was in the hotel. Then I took a taxi to terminal de colectivos and started my 13-hour-journey to Puerto Madryn.
Bariloche

Monday

I arrived to Madryn at 7am (<3) I love those nights in the bus -.- So, when I went to wait a taxi I met one Swiss girl who was visiting in the Madryn and we ended up to take a same taxi, because there wasn't too many of them... So, the girl didn't speak so much Spanish, so i found myself traducing(?) (dunno how you write it -.-) spanish-english-spanish-english... jaja so, finally the girl found her hostel and we drove to my home... and the driver told me that he remembers me from the first day when i arrived to P.Madryn (almost 3 months ago) he had driven me and the family from the bus terminal to my new home (and there lives 100 000 people in this city!!!) yeah.. i think i'm the only blond in the city :D he gave me his card, so now i have my own "taxi driver" :DD

Anyway It was really great to see everybody again and I miss you already! (Jess and Ellie.. Some day I'll appear to New Zeland... :) ) And I've never in my entire life seen landscapes like that!!

I LOVE YOU ARGENTINA!
TE QUIERO ARGENTINA!
