Mi Argentina

There has happend a lot since I last wrote something to here (:

On friday and on saturday night I went to boliche (=disco) it was something that I've never experienced before, the whole place was full of people. I mean full. Sometimes we could barely move. And yeah... it was interesting :D

Arriving to Cordoba
And on Monday I started school. I'm going the 5th grade, kinda 11th, lukion tokaa. We have lots of economics and staff like that and you can imagine how much I understand.. Castellano (=Spanish) <3 But at least I understand math and physics. The things that they are doing in math are kinda easy, like things i did one year ago, so my class mates thing that I'm really good at math :DD Today i was just studying a Finnish math course (Ma.a8)
Lessons here are really weird, I start school at 7am and finish it at 1pm and during that time we have 9 lessons o.O theu are so short, hard to understand. At school everybody wants to talk to me and everyone asks ''what kinda music i listen?'' I understand something and i'm able to speak something, but it's kinda hard when there is 5 guys shouting at the same time. ''Do you love me?'' -Yes, sure. '' Say something in Finnish!'' - Moi. ''Plaplapla (spanish)?'' - Que?, Sí sí. ''Come to my house to drink maté'' - What? I don't understand... :D and so on.
But yes, sometimes i understand whole conversations, and sometimes nothing. Anyway I can speak more than I expected (: and I'm learning all the time.

Corral de Bustos (center)
The best thing I took with me has been bible and villasukat (: suosittelen muillekki vaihtareille.

Here is somethings that are very different here than in Finland.

1. There is no locks in the bathrooms' doors. If the door is closed it means someone is inside... In the public toilets there (usually) is. (But I don't get why there is a lock in at least some bedroom doors.)

2. Pyorissa ei oo tarakoita, porukkaa kuskataan siin ohjaustangon paalla.... ???

3. Everyone here drinks Pepsi and 7up, I've seen Fanta once... And limonade is here in the bottels of 2l, 2 and half, 3l...????

4. I know is it weird or not, but they drink even wine with Pepsi...

5. Girls use make-up only in the parties, not at school or anywhere.

6. All young people sit always in the sidewalk in the center and if a car passes by where is someone they know they can just walk there to the middle of the road and start to talk with the ones in the car.

7. There is about 100 guys who want me to be their girlfriend (good luck with that... :D)

Yeah, things in here are really different than in Finland. About the places that I know this is propably most like Israel (: niinku joku valimeren maa.

And in Finnish (Suomeks)

On ollu tosi kivaa.

Hello guys (:

I'm now in Corral de Bustos in my host family. I love this place, the town it's not too big and it's so beautiful. The house is really nice as well.

I was so happy yesterday when i met my host family, all exchange students were so excited when the families arrived. The camp in the Cordoba was nice and i got lots of new friends, i hope i'm gonna still see them in Argentina. It took 3 and half hours by car from Cordoba to Corral de bustos (it's not so much, because some of my friends have to go by bus about 9 hours...) there was a bus strike yesterday so i don't think they were able to go to the families.. I don't know how long it will last..

But anyway, I was suprised how much i understand Spanish (it's not much) but when people are talking I understand what they are talking about... (but i never understand anything when someone ask me something.. :D) I speak Spanglish with my sis and Spanish with my mom (''i speak'') Yesterday I met some my sister's friends and they don't speak too much English (it's just good, because i wouldn't learn any Spanish, if they did) so... it was kinda interesting, they had to speak really slowly and still say the same sentence about 100 times :DD but i understood.... something :D It's funny cause it seems that 52% Argentinian girls are Sofias 38% Micaelas and rest somethingelse''elas''. (: So, I'lll propably call everybody ''Sofias'' at the beginning :D

So, this morning I ate suolakekseja for desayuno with dulce de leche (sellasta toffeeta) and now my host mom is working and sis is coming soon from school, I'll start school on Monday at 7.30 o.O but the school ends usually at 1 pm :P This night we'll go to some disco (today it's day called friend's day) and tomorrow as well and on Sunday everybody just sleeps...

So, i'll tell you about mi casa (my home) in here. We live in the center in the second floor (there is just 2 floors in the building) So, when you go in first there is a big living room. On the left there is a kitchen and one bedroom and bathroom. And on the right from the livingroom there is kinda ''small'' hall, my and my sis's room and my host mom's room and a bathroom. The apartment is really big i guess it's pretty much the same size as my home in Finland.. or even a bit bigger.  I'll put some pictures later.

So, what else.. the temperature. When we arrived to Cordoba a week ago, it was really cold. About +10 celsius and a few days were really cold (it's winter in here) But yesterday it was maybe about 20 degrees, but at night it's colder. The house is not as cold as i expected, but it's bit colder than houses are in Finland. (it's funny, here people use really warm jackets, in Finland some people would use a t-shirt in this temperature) jotkut kayttaa taal toppatakkeja :D and everyone is asking me '' isn't it cold?''

So anyway that's it this time, next time (hopefully) I'll load some pics (: But anyway Me encanta Argentina y Corral de Bustos! <3

Estoy en Argentina!!!!

I can't write a lot now, but anyway.. I'm now in cordoba...

The journey took almost 30 hours... i was so tired after that, I slept about 5 hours at plane... From STS there is 6 of us from Finland (so much o.O i was so suprised) 2 from Sweden, 1 from Germany, 1 from Norweigian and 1 from Switzerland. They are really nice and it was fun to travell with them (: Then there is like.... 10... more from Germany and someone from Canada and 2 from  New Zeland.... (:
Yeah, so no we are in a orientation camp. We stay in one hostel, it's fine. (I can't put any pics now... later...) Today we walked in the city a bit and then we had 5 hours Spanish... there is 3 groups for different levels and I`m in the second group. It was really nice i understood what the teacher was saying and yeah.. (: Now it's nine and we're gonna have a dinner after one hour..different than in Finland.. there we eat usually at 5... and the time difference is 6 hours to Finland..
So what else... I'm tired... I can't believe that I'm here, but I love Argentina already!!! it's so amazing. This camp will last until wednesday and on thursday my host family will come to take me to corral de bustos!! Can't wait!! (We're gonna have 5 spanish lessons every day...) But it's just good and the teacher of my group is really good (:

So, it's so amazing to be here and when other are thinking if they made a right desicion (i dunno if you write it like this...but what ever) I was just wondering what i've been doing in finland all these years (:

So, my flight leaves from Helsinki-Vantaa airport on Friday and first we fly to  Heathrow and then we take an other plane and we fly to Buenos Aires... that flight takes like... 12 hours?? And then we have 6 hours time in there and then we fly to Cordoba. So... travelling takes about 26 hours... I think I don't want to see a plane for a year... (and propably I won't) :D

There is 5 of us going to Argentina from Finland and we'll meet people from around Europe at the Heathrow (those who are coming to Argentina as well)

-Enjoy every minute that I spend in Argentina!

I'm not going to

-Get bored
-Miss too much Finland
-Speak English
-Get a boyfriend (sorry guys :P)
-Spend time in Facebook (people, study how to use an e-mail!)
-Be too Finnish (shy and.. u know ''Finnish people are like'')

So, I'm going to the province of Cordoba,
So, when I go there, I'll have at first a-five-day camp in Cordoba and then I'll go to Corral de Bustos and my school will start then as well... so my summer vacation is over after 2 weeks...

Anyway I've started packing (yeah, i really started it before the last night in Finland) I have alredy most of my clothes in my bag... (:

Tää on vähä tämmöne epämääränen postaus... ihansamaa :D

Oh, finally I've put 2 of my songs to youtube... I have still 3 more. So, those songs have been recorded in our living room... and the CD is not too professional.. but anyway. So, the song called ''Amazing'' is propably oldest of these songs, I wrote it winter 2011 or 2010.. ''Someone'' is one of my favourites. I wrote it last fall. I made it for school as a music project. The newest is ''More than your dreams'' I wrote it this spring. I've been writing songs from year 2002.. ( I was 7)... but we didn't record now those older ones
